FrontStores is built privacy-first. This policy explains what information we handle and how. By using the Software, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Your Business Data Stays With You

FrontStores desktop apps are offline-first. Your business data — products, customers, orders, billing, inventory, and similar records — is stored locally on your own device in a local database. We do not collect, upload, or have access to this data. You remain the sole owner and controller of it.

2. Information We Do Collect

To register your account, deliver updates, and manage your subscription, we collect limited information:

• Registration details — shop name, city, and the mobile number (WhatsApp number) you provide at signup, used to identify your installation and contact you.
• Subscription & licence status — your tenant identifier, plan, and expiry date, used to validate your subscription.
• Error reports — if the app encounters an error, technical diagnostic details may be sent to help us fix issues. These reports are intended to contain technical information, not your business records.

3. How We Use This Information

• To create and manage your account and subscription.
• To verify your licence and deliver software updates.
• To contact you about your subscription, support, or important notices.
• To diagnose and fix technical problems.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties except as required to operate the service (for example, infrastructure providers that host our update and licensing servers) or as required by law.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. Because your business data lives on your own device, its security also depends on you keeping your device secure and maintaining backups using the in-app backup feature.

6. Data Retention

We retain registration and subscription information for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your registration information by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the registration information we hold about you. Since your business data is stored locally on your device, you can manage, export, or delete it yourself at any time from within the app.

8. Children

FrontStores is intended for business use and is not directed to individuals under 18.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
